One of a kind, Japanese earthenware VASE TABLE LAMP with a unique hand-cut stencil LAMP SHADE, made for Shibui Art by FOSS LAMP STUDIO in Oakland, CA. Originally made as a copper screened container for "fresh food," before the days of refrigeration, this item which demonstrates the form and function of Japanese design has been tastefully converted to a lamp with shoji paper. It's suitable either as a floor lamp or a table lamp.
