Chinese 18th Century portion of a KESI CHIFU (Formal Court Robe) with auspicious symbols (bats) embroidered in silk around a central motif of a single peony blossom. Very attractively mounted and framed in black with non-glare glass and a brass hanging hook. Condition is good with only some slight discoloration.

A PAIR of Chinese hand embroidered bucolic scenes framed with an antique gold faux bamboo and glare-proof glass. One scene is of two women in a house in garden with rocks and trees and the other is of a man fishing and a woman farming with bamboo, pine and pavillions. All the colors are soft and muted. Good detail. The borders are of floral displays interspersed with buddhist scrolls and sutras. Condition is excellent. 20.5 inches in height x 16.75 inches in width. Circa 1900-1920.
