Japanese Blue & White porcelain PLATE depicting a contended farmer under a wide brimmed hat, wearing his straw "raincoat," and his straw "zori," (sandals,) leaning on his hoe as he gazes at the oversize bamboo shoots in his bamboo grove! Two piece Japanese porcelain, Blue & White Incense Burner or Censer, "Koro," with a boy drummer beating a drum on top with Buddhist symbols surrounding him; sitting on a tri-footed Elephant Base. Condition is good but there is a small kiln crack on the inside of one leg. Total height is 7 inches or 17.8 cms. Circa, 1900-1920.
Japanese porcelain Imari BOWL "Akadama" in bell form with a dragon design inside the cavetto,with a floral rim with underglaze blue and green, orange and yellows. There is a tassel design on the outside with oranges, greens and yellows. No mark on the bottom. Condition is good, the colors are bright, except for the green cloud marks inside the bowl, and there is a small 1/2 inch hairline crack in the rim. Japanese white porcelain Mandarin Duck a symbol of marital fidelity which were given as pairs for wedding presents in China because the birds pair for life! Well modeled and wonderfully detailed, this would make a perfect gift for a newly wed or newly engaged person. The duck is 4 inches (10 cms.) in height x 6 inches (15.2 cms) in length x 3.75" ((9.5 cms) in width.
Condition is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa: Taisho era.
Japanese Blue & White Porcelain PLATE with deep scalloped edge. There is a coastal scene will hills and trees and ship at sea with an interesting bridge in the foreground. Condition: Overall good, but there is a hairline crack about 2.5" long (at the 10 o'clock position, between the boat and the mountains.) and a small "kama-kizu" (kiln imperfection) Circa: 1880-1899.

Large Blue & White Japanese PLATE (with a slightly scalloped edge,) depicting a massive pine tree and a delicate plum tree.
Fair condition with one small rim chip and a 2 inch (5cm.) hairline crack. Hand painted decoration on the back sides. Circa: Mid-Meiji Era, 1880-1900. Diameter is almost 14 inches (35.5 cms.) with a height of 2 inches (5 cms.)
Large, 12 inch diameter, Japanese IMARI PLATE, with Chrysanthemum Leaves in the center and yellow and orange Chrysanthemum
flowers with butterflies. Condition: two chips(at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock) were skillfully repaired in Japan and appear white. Circa 1900-1920.
Japanese Blue and White porcelain covered BOX (with lid)with very finely drawn floral motif. Edo period, 19th Century. Dimensions: Height, 5.25 inches (13.2 cm) x Diameter, 6 inches (15cm) Condition is excellent, some iron spots on inside of lid and a "kami-kizu" (kiln flaw) on the inside of the foot rim .75 inches (2 cm) in length.
Japanese porcelain underglaze Blue & White EWER with a ovoiform body and loop handle, the body decorated with floral designs(Camellia or "Botan") the neck with a continuation of the Camellia and other floral scrolling design and foliage at the shoulder and base bands of foliage, the handle with similar design. PROVENANCE: Purchased in London @ Christie's and exhibited at the Kyushu Ceramics Museum.
