A well rendered THAILAND oil painting on canvas of an earth dwelling DEVA (Goddess) and minor deities and an Arhat all skillfully portrayed in Buddhist temple grounds. All enclosed in a gilt wooden frame with glass and a silk matte. Condition of painting shows wear in many places. Dimensions overall are 27.25" (70.5 cm) x 21.75" (58 cm) and painting only are 21" (53 cm) x 16.5 " or (52.5 cm) Circa: early 1900s.

A set of 5 Burmese bronaze cast "Elephant Weights," almost impossible to find the real thing these days. Beautifully rendered and originally used as weights for a scale to weight opium and other items in days long past! Wonderful patina! Circa: 19th C. Height of largest elephant is 1.5" (3.7 cm) and height of smallest is 15/16th of an inch (2.3 cm)

A complete SET of 6 Bronze cast Burmese "Chicken Weights," that were used to weight among other things, opium in the days long past! Beautifullly rendered with a wonderful patina, these weights are almost impossible to find these days. Circa 19th C. Height of largest weight is 2 1/2" (6.3 cm) and the height of smallest is 3/8" (1.8 cm)

Northern Thai stonewear (Sawankhalok) COVERED JAR & lid with provenance, from the Arthur M. Sackler Collection item # 72.3.370 A and B (base & lid) purchased at Christie's NYC.
