Khmer Brown glazed BOTTLE with a pear shaped body, everted mouth and low foot with a rim. The neck is decorated with a collar of turned lines both above and below the join of the neck to the body. Eroded brownish green glaze. foot unglazed. Circa 11th or 12th Century. Condition is good, no cracks or chips, some fritting. Height is 9" and diameter of base is 3.33"

Celadon glaze BOWL from Sawankhalok, Thailand, decorated with turned lines below a faux-foliated rim and combed lines with a simple double circle in the center. The outside had no decoration other than three broadly spaced bands. A clear olive green glaze. No glaze covering the footrim. Condition is excellent. Circa 19th Century. Diameter at rim is 9.1 inches. Height is 3" and diameter of footrim is 3.5"

One SAGGER and two (2) CELADON POTTERY SHARDS from a kiln site along the left bank of the Ping River in Si Satchanalai, Thailand. These two shards can be used reliably to help identify and verify AUTHENTIC celadon ware from the 15-16th Century! One shard is 2.5" x 3.5" and is 1/2" thick and the other is the bottom of a bowl 2.25" x 2.25" with an incised circular design in the cavetto; which also shows a "lotus" ribbed design on the outside. Two large SHARDS from a pot in PAGAN, Burma both appearing to be from the same vessel. They have a 5 banded cross pattern perhaps made with a wooden paddle. They have a gray body with a terracotta finish to both sides. The third piece is the bottom of a "kendi," Dimensions are 6" x 3" and 7.75" x 3" (15.24 x 7.6 cms.) for the two pot shards and 2 3/8" x 1 1/2" (6.1 x 3.8 cms) for the third shard. 4 Burmese POTTERY SHARDS from the ancient city of Pagan on the Irrewaddy River, an ancient Buddhist Kingdom built entirely from donations (not slave labor,) 3 pieces from pots with incised designs (see photos) and one handle to a pot. The length of the handle is 4 inches. The largest of the pottery shards is 3 x 1.75 inches. Condition is good. From Sawankhalok, Thailand, two stonewear ceramics, in underglaze brushed iron decoration. One is a top of a jar,with a small knop handle on the domed lid, the other is a bottom section of ANOTHER, different JAR. Circa: 15-16th Century. The top has a diameter of 4.75 inches and there is a chip on the outside rim; the smaller piece has a diameter of 4 inches with some rim chips.

From Sawankhalok, Thailand's ancient city's kilns, 3 mismatched stonewear bottoms(2) and top (1) decorated in underglaze brushed iron. The largest piece is a top (with a modern wire attached to hang on a wall) which has a diameter of 4.75 inches. Condition is excellent with no chips. The two smaller bottoms to boxes are ribbed with slight decoration on the outside; with dimensions of 3.25 and 3.175 inches. There are chips on both bottoms. Circa: 15-16th Century.

Five different size bottoms of Thailand stonewear covered BOXES from Sawankhalok kilns, 15th-16th Century. 4 of the 5 pieces have an underglaze blue decoration, one(the largest piece with a 2.5 inch (6.35 cms.)diameter has a blue ring around the top and bottom. The smallest has a diameter of only 1.5 inches or 3.8 cms. Condition varies from excellent for the largest and second largest piece to fair with rim chips on all three of the smallest diameter items.
