American Indian ACOMA polychrome olla is a work of art. As is traditional in Acoma art the jar was formed in native clay with ground pottery shard temper, has a rag-wiped white slip and a natural (no slip) interior with a red (orange) slipped underbody with a concave base. The jar is in very good condition. No apparent signs of restorations. 6.75" x 8.5" diameter. circa 1840's.

A delightful Acoma pueblo American Indian jar with black and white geometric designs on an orange background. Purchased from a reputable dealer in New Mexico. Condition is excellent. Circa: 1930's. 5.5" x 7 3/8" diameter.

A well modeled bronze/brass SHIVA (siva) multi-armed and dancing atop a supplicant within a large wheel of life with flames surrounding on a raised stepped base. Height is 26.5 inches or 57 cm.

Japnease earthenware TEA BOWL (Cup) with an incised artist's mark ("Hangetsu") and a signed kiriwood box. This strikingly beautiful TEA BOWL has a soft "dreamlike" glaze which emulates marble. Well potted this would make a wonderful present for someone who wants to actually drink green tea in a Japanese Tea Bowl! Dimensions: 4 5.8 inches (11.5 cm) x 2 5/8 inches (6.7 cm) No chips, cracks or restorations. Perfect condition. Circa: 1960-70.

Japanese earthenware TEA BOWL with a stamped signature from the artist ("Ando")with a signed and sealed (outside and inside) kiri wood box. The TEA BOWL has an interesting pale lavender color glaze with stamped designs around the outer rim.
