a Japanese replica of a Chinese "Sleeve Vase" with lion's head mask handles. Earthenware, finely modeled, with a rick lavender colored glaze dripping down inside the mouth and ending neatly just above the base. There is an oval impressed "potter's mark," on the base (see pix# 6,) at 5 o'clock. No cracks, chips or restorations. Condition is perfect. Circa: pre 1970.

One of a series of 12 lithographs made by Maclure from the artist M. Bruce, 1846. This is a copy of the originals which are in a museum in HK. Entitled, "View of Queen's Road looking East from the Canton Bazaar, Hong Kong, 1846." Matted with gray silk, 2 " width, and framed with black wood with a slight gold braid and glare-proof glass. Dimensions of prints are 13.5 inches x 9 3/8 inches. (34.3 x 23.9 cms.) Frame is 18.5" x 14.5" Wire on back, ready to hang!

Hand-Made IRANIAN (Persia) COPPERWARE DISH with a foliate rim, void of any decoration other than two bands on the inside of the dish on the rim and parallel lines on the foliate edge. Good patina. Good condition. Diameter is 7 inches or 18 cms. and the height is 5/8 of an inch or 1.5 cms. Circa: 1950's.

BURMESE Standing wooden lacquered MONK holding his begging bowl, is 30 inches in height, with a 7" diameter base. Circa 1960's. Condition is good, but there is a crack in the wooden base (see enlargement # 5) There are no cracks in the second piece that is similiar to this statue.

Japanese reddish-orange lacquer TEA JAR and LID with black lacquer inside the wooden container. Condition is fair, with one slight rim flake on the edge of the lid and not visable when the jar is closed. Circa:1950-70. Height is 2 5/8 inches with a diameter of 2.5 inches at the top and 1.75 inches at the bottom.

Original watercolor by a famous Burmese artist, Tin Aung Htaik, of the "Lei-Gwyayign Myo Monastery," which is located across the Ayayerwady River from Pagan, Burma. Pagan was as ancient capital(850-1300 AD) that was built by volunteer's contributions seeking "merit." This monastery is particularly intersting due to it's many gabled roofs, and it is constructed entirely of wood. Condition is good. Dimensions are 15" x 11."
