Japanese SCROLL of Buddhist Art with a central Buddha flanked by Bosatsu, with two other figures kneeling in the foreground. This scroll was printed. There is some slight damage and creases to the scroll, although the print itself remains in good, frame-able condition. Dimensions of the scroll overall are 8.5 inches x 24.25 inches. The picture itself is 6 7/8" x 14 3/8". Circa: 1930's.

A well rendered replica of a Nara period (645-793 AD) Buddhist Avalokitesvara. This metal religious sculpture has an appealing patina. Cast in two pieces with a third (the aura) added. Circa after WWII before 1970. Height = 9.75 inches.
PAIR of Studio Japanese Shinto porcelain FOX GODS (Kitsune) in an upright pose with overglaze enamels. Often found by Red or orange lacquer Tori or tucked away by small mountain shrines. Perfect condition. Pre 1980. Height is 4 5/8 inches (12 cms.) x 2 inches in width or 5 cms.
This Japanese Temple Bell is cast in bronze approx. 1/8 of an inch thick with simple concentric rings around the bell topped with a floret type design. The handle cast separately in great detail.
The clapper is also metal and the sound is pure and piercing. Circa, 1930's; height= 7 inches.

Condition is good except for the fox with the scroll...the tail was broken and repaired, hairline crack is visible upon close inspection. Printed black ink rendition of a Japanese Shinto deity, "FUDO-sama," keeper of the gate to hell, SCROLL. There are some insect holes in the scroll, (see photo) but nonetheless, still suitable to be framed.
