Japanese studio porcelain celadon glazed RABBIT with a wooden box and lid marked with artist's name and their seal or "hanko."
Well modeled, this rabbit would make a fine gift for that special person in your life who likes rabbits! There are 3 other rabbits which are shown and are antiques for the real wabbit lover! Circa 1970's. Condition is excellent, length is 4.75 inches (12 cms.) and the height is 4 inches or 10 cms.
Wooden Japanese ABACUS for counting the "Oriental Way." 21 rows of 5 beads each and another one on the bottom. Good condition. Nice patina. Put together with wood pegs, no metal! An attractive conversation piece. Length is 14 inches x 3.75 inches. Circa 1930's.
Medium sized Japanese all silk Vintage kimono with a Persian motif! Lined with grey silk material. The base is 10" x 5.5" and the height is 9 inches. Condition is good, but there are some slight water spots on the silk as to be expected with a textile that is 30-40 yrs. old.
Two (2)miniature IKO made in Japan. Just like the larger IKO which were originally used to hang & display Kimono; these smaller (but painstakingly made to the same proportions) IKO's can now be used for jewelry to hang necklaces and earrings in a unique and tasteful way!
J-89 has mother of pearl inlay and J-90 has three painted cranes on the bottom panel.

Two large Bamboo baskets (Silk-worms eat a mold on mulberry leaves) from Japan. These baskets make fantastic wall lamps with a little shoji paper and an electrical socket! The effect is magical. Lamps can be hand made by Shibui Art, please inquire. The diameter is 33" and the depth is 2.25".

Golden sparrows flying on a similiar hued background, 10 feet 10" in length x 10 inches in width, backed in black silk. Very good condition, some slight creases which can be ironed from the back side.
