A SET of two bronze cast Japanese INCENSE BURNERS with a beautiful patina. Total of 3 pieces, the tallest with a height of 3" and a diameter of 2.25" and the smaller (2 piece) has a height of 2.5" and a diameter of 2.5 inches. Condition is excellent. Circa: 1920-30.
Japanese cast metal statue of a seated KANNON Bosatsu, who is an "Avalokitesvara,"
or an enlightened person who choses not to go to nirvana; but chooses instead to stay on earth and help their fellow beings. Also known as a "Goddess of Mercy." Very well modeled with fine detail. Height is 7 inches with a diameter at base of 4.25" Condition is good with a small amount of wear. Circa: 1930's.
