Korean WHITEWEAR (Tea) BOWL in conical form is potted with "ridges," where the potter's hands delineated the depth and shape of the impressions. This is the lightest weight pottery (based on dimensions) that I have held in my hands in 15 years! Condition: perfect. Circa: early 19th Century. Dimensions are 5.5 inches in diameter.
Korean Whitewear JAR with 2 different blue
drawings of grapes & vines on the shoulders in ovoid form. There are 5 hairline cracks in the neck; as well as two "kiln cracks," about 3" in length between the neck and the shoulder (along the seam) and an additional similiar crack between the footrim and the body. None of these detract from the beauty of the shape, glaze and paintings.

Unusual Stonewear, KOREAN underglaze Red & Blue OIL LAMP in teapot form with brocade ball decoration and animalistic finial on cover which is a separate piece. Condition is quite good, no obvious chips, cracks or restoration apparent. Height is 5.5 inches or 14 cms., the diameter at the shoulder is 4.5 inches or 12 cms. Circa: late 19th Century, perhaps earlier.
Korean WHITEWEAR JAR with blue overglaze floral painting on the shoulders. The rim was broken and repaired as seen in the photographs. Diameter is 5.25 inches or 13.4 cms. CIrca: late 19th Century, perhaps earlier.
KOREAN porcelain WATER DROPPER or Tsuiteki, with underglaze Blue and Red in octagonal form with a landscape design (weeping willow tree on top) and a water buffalo finial. Good condition, no restorations or chips or cracks. Diameter is 4.25 inches or 11 cms. Height is 2.5 inches or 6.4 cms. Circa: 19th Century.
KOREAN Stonewear GALLIPOT or Meiping with a gray-green crackled celadon glaze and "Mishima," or inlaid design of flying cranes running vertically from the base to the neck in four lines. There are 3 Chinese characters incised on the base. Condition is good, but some of the "Mishima" cranes are not clearly delineated. Korean porcelain figure of a seated PRIEST with an off-white finely crackled glaze. The priest holding a palm frond fan in right hand and a teapot in left hand, his tongue moves (from side to side) Great expressiveness. There is a four character impressed mark on the inside of the ceramic.(see photo #5)
Dimensions: 3.5"=ht. x 4"=width x 3"=depth.
There is some damage to the spout of the teapot. Circa: Choson period, late 19th C.
Korean earthenwear "Rice-cake" or Alter Stand with top round surface with a whitewear glaze that has a slightly blueish tinge. There is a hairline, "kiln crack," on the edge that is visible from both the inside and the outside (see pixs)Well modeled. Dimensions: 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cms) in diameter x 2 5/8 inches (7 cms.) in height. Circa 1800-1850.
Korean whitewear earthenware JAR in baluster form with creamy "off-white" glaze. Well potted and no chips cracks or restorations. Circa: Yi Dynasty, 19th Century. Height is 3.5 inches (9 cms) x 4 5/8 inches or 12 cms.
Korean "Ge" ware type earthenware TEA BOWL, well potted covered with a white glaze with a slightly bluish tinge, stopping neatly before the unglazed footrim with spur marks inside the cavetto. "Dimensions are 5 3/8 inch diameter or 13.8 cms x 2 3/8 inches in height or 6 cms. Condition appears to be good, no chips, cracks or restorations. Circa: 19th or perhaps 18th Century, Yi Dynasty.
