HTI-LO-MIN-LO built in 1211 AD, Pagan, BURMA When the King's father made a solemn vow and set the white umbrella in the midst of his five sons, it inclined according to his father's wish; at that place where the "hti" inclined the king built a pagoda after the likeness of Sulamani; it was called Htilominlo (after this event). an original waterpainting by the Burmese artist, "Tin Aung Htaik. Condition is excellent, Size is 21.5" x 14.75".

All of this, of course, in the old city of Pagan, BURMA; built entirely with donations from Buddhist believers in the 9th-12th Century AD. Dimensions are 22" x 15" and the condition is good.

Two (2) Medium sized original watercolors by a famous Burmese artist named, Tin Aung Htaik, of old (850-1000AD) Buddhist ruins in the city of Pagan, Burma. One side shows the famous "Burmese Lions," flanking a staircase and the other shows the ruins, near the Library, where a very large Buddha (constructed of bricks and stucco) used to sit. Size is 15" x 11" Condition is good.

Original watercolor of medium size (15" x 11") of the "Burmese Lion Entrance" to the "Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda," which in on the far side of the Ubang Bridge in Mandalay, Burma. Construction was started in 1853 and completed in 1878. Artist is Tin Aung Htaik, a famous Burmese artist. More information about him is avaiable upon request. Condition is good.

Original watercolor of "Mingun Pagoda," which is proported to be the largest pile of bricks in the world, almost 150 meters tall! Abandonded when King Bodawpaya died in 1819 and devasted by an earthquake in 1838. Located on the west bank of the Ayeyarwady River, north of Mandalay, Burma. Dimensions of painting are 14.25" x 9.5" Condition is good. The artist is Tin Aung Htaik.
