| A refreshing IMARI BOWL from Japan with two cracks which have been repaired which is somewhat visible. The central motif is a potted flowering bonsai plant, with three cartouches of a goose inside an enclosure with bamboo and other trees. One goose or perhaps a fat duck is upended downwards in the water. These same cartouches are repeated 3 times on the outside of this childlike bowl. Beautiful wave design in underglaze blue inside/out framing the ducks. circa 1910-1920. Height is 4" with a 8.5" diameter. | ||
