| Korean 10-sided "HONEY POT" or "seokganju" or "oja" are the most uniquely 'Korean' of pots. This particular example (#3 of 5) is larger than the other three and is darker in color. It's base is also less indented than the other 5 honey pots available on this site. This comes with its original lid. A very similar pot sold at Christie's in New York City for $1,528, on September 18, 2001., Lot # 307. Height is 9.25 inches (23.5 cm) x 8.25 inches (21 cm) Condition is fair, there are areas of glaze loss but no cracks. Circa: 18/19th Century. | ||
