| A well modeled Terracotta bust of an Avalokitesvara from either Thailand or Cambodia. Some pitting and abrasions and a broken right ear lobe which is to be expected in a terracotta object of this age. Mounted on a wooden stand, the total height is 9.5" x 4 inches. The actual height of the head itself is about 6" x almost 4". There is a Certificate of Antique which states that this is the "style of Banteay Srei to the 18th century." | ||
