| Laksmi (Sri) the Hindu Goddess of Beauty and Good Fortune, the wife of Vishnu (the preserver) who descended to earth as one of Vishnu's avataras. She is holding the attributes of a conch shell, a disc, a ball and a club. She is standing on the buffalo shaped demon Mahisa, whom she has conquered. Circa: 19th Century. Condition is good, except for the tip of the right buffulo's horn which was broken and repaired and a small black "mold" spot on the back (see enlargement # 6 ) Dimensions are 28" x 14.5" x 8" in depth. | ||
