| Burmese Lacquer TEA STORAGE JAR with lid, with a design motif of "ku-nan-kan-byat" or Yunnan semicircle design and Zodiac animals in the rosettes. Condition is worn, there are spots were the orange-red lacquer has been rubbed off with constant handling, and the black lacquer underneath is exposed. This Jar was cut at the collar and so it sits approx. a 1/2" shorter than it should. This is not immediately evident. Dimensions are 8.5 inches in height and approx. 7.75" in diameter. Circa: 1870-1910. | ||
