Korean porcelain Priest-with moving tongue! 20thC.
Korean porcelain figure of a seated PRIEST with an off-white finely crackled glaze. The priest holding a palm frond fan in right hand and a teapot in left hand, his tongue moves (from side to side) Great expressiveness. There is a four character impressed mark on the inside of the ceramic.(see photo #5) Dimensions: 3.5"=ht. x 4"=width x 3"=depth. There is some damage to the spout of the teapot (see photo #2). Circa: Choson period, late 19th C.
