| Set of 30 Ukiyoe (wood block prints) by 13 different 18th century Japanese artists each print with the colors accurately reproduced, sharp and clear, backed & matted with a tissue paper cover and cover for each print. The outside portfolio is of silk on all sides with gold embossed letters. The inside of the portfolio (see pix #2) has an old poem ny Taikenmon-in Horikawa taken from a collection of tanka poetry, Senzaishu, compiled c. 1187 which translates as follows: How long will it last? A heart cannot be certain, My hair, long and black; Is disordered this morning, Is confused like my thinking. There is a large format catalogue 18 x 12.25 inches, 45.5 x 31 cms.) in English with a Preface, Shunga, The Artists, The Prints (with a black and white image and detailed description of each print)and finally some Notes. The dimensions of each print are 15 5/8 inches x 11 inches or 39.7 x 28 cms. The dimensions of each mounted and matted print are 18.5 inches x 12.25 inches or 46.7 x 31 cms.
