Finely caste and proportioned with a screw on type lid and decorated over its body with gilded lotus flowers, leaves and tendrils, a large Chinese character in gild in a medallion on the top on one side, a long poem in gild on the other side, the handle attached at the top, an apocryphal Qianlong four character mark in gild on the base. Qing. 6 in. diam. 3 1/4 in. high.
Provenance: Bergen County, New Jersey collection Condition excellent. Except for minor wear to the gilding and a small dent in the bottom no cracks, breaks or damages.
