Caste with toaist masks on both sides in the form and style of a Shang counterpart, the three legs with animal faces, the inside showing signs of use, the wooden top with a jade finial, fitted bottom. Qing. 4 1/4 in. diam 4 1/2 in high.
Provenance: Denver, Colorado estate. Condition excellent. No cracks, breaks or repairs. This is one of two bronzes purchased at the estate of an individual who by repute lived in China during the 1930's, the first bronze having been sold on Ebay several weeks ago.
