Molded with two foliated dragons, their long tails entwined with lotus tendrils and leaves swirling up to the neck on each side, the everted large mouthed rim carrying the same celadon glaze, the glaze pooling nicely at the unglazed foot, the base glazed celadon, the handles each as a stylized animal face. 11 in. high 20th C.
Provenance: Estate of a Washington, D.C. Chinese attorney and art collector Condition excellent. No cracks, breaks or damages. This is one of a number of 20th C porcelain objects where Dahliantiques cannot ascertain when in the 20th C this vase was manufactured. Prospective buyers should make their own determination as to when this porcelain vase was manufactured. |
