Painted in soft enamels, the setting in a garden with a fence and a wise man addressing two young acolytes, the exterior undecorated, a six character Xianfeng underglaze red mark on the base and of the period. 5 7/8 in. diam.
Provenance: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania collection Condition good. One large and one small interior rim frits together with one small rim frit that shows on the back of the dish along with a short associated hairline. See photographs for details.
