| All Viking beads are rare, and we were fortunate to purchase several lots which came to auction in London in the 1980s. The rarest by far, are the silver beads, of which we bought a single lot for auction is a Viking Silver bead dating. 866-1067 A.D., found in England were it was occupied by Vikings at the time. The 5.7 mm diameter and 4.6mm wide. The inside has the original oxidized surface from burial and the outside has been professionally cleaned, which makes it a fine presentation for a modern jewelry creation or antiquities collection. 14A30 | ||
