A very fine detailed basin , decorated in polychrome enamels on a gold ground, with alternating floral and mandarin scenes in cartouches . The carved figural wood stand is included. Excellent condition, with vibrant color and very pronounced green. Circa 1850-70
A Daoguang dynasty wash basin in iron red and gold, with a sacred bird and butterfly border and in a mandarin palette. Some wear on gold edge of basin otherwise excellent. Nice orange peal back with floral sprays. Circa 1825 - 1850 16 1/4 inches in dia. and 5 inches high.
