The top engraved after a scene in the style of Nicolas Lancret 1690-1743, titled Le Colin Maillard (Blind Mans Bluff). The interior lined with a vibrant silk textile and pearl enhancements and set on raised stylized winged birds with paw feet. 6.75 x 6.75 x 4 inches.
The mesh area of the frame with four scrolled appliques and raised dots, and surrounded by gadroon and beaded edges. The top area of the frame with torch, quiver, ribbon and laurel leaf. Merchandised by Stern Bros., New York, and marked accordingly as well as an incised France mark. 8.75 x 6.50 inches Good condition.

An Art Nouveau set comprised of a moistener, inkwell, blotter, letter opener and blotter corners. This was made by Marshall Field and Co. and is marked as such. Circa 1910. (Bronzes 1800-1930 Item 225-Berman) Glass insert in inkwell damaged, other pieces in good condition. Largest piece-inkwell-is 4 1/2 inches square.
