The mauve, blue and burgundy beaded surface with an en grisaille beaded floral and geometric pattern. The dual sides with border, handles and tassels of silk braiding, and the interior with silk quilted batting, making this piece of considerable weight. Appears to have all beads and only slight soil and wear to interior. England Late 19th century Height 14.50" Width 11.50"

The delicate pierced horn blades and guards are conjoined and raised with gold ornamentation and silver pique work. The leaf of fragile mesh with sequin applique and a signed painting in the center cartouche. The fan is mounted in a gilt wood fan shaped box and lined in moire. Fan size is 13 W. x 7.5 H. Depose (French Registry mark on guard stick. Excellent condition and a fine example of an early French Empire fan.

The revival of fashionable laces of the 2nd half of the 19th century. The fine three dimensional petals with tiny rings of ornamentation and fine mesh gaze. The sticks and guards of mother of pearl with fine pierced and gilt floral bouquet. Minute areas of stain, no breaks, or tears. The gilt fan box 25 inches wide, the fan guards are 11 inches.

A crepe de chine chinese silk exported to Manilla, were they were embroidered. Referred to also as Spanish shawls ( country of destination)and piano shawls, sold in London. Shown one quarter of size with the remaining three quarters of the same pattern. 46-48 inches square with deep silk fringe. Very minor stain , and no tears. 19th century into early 20th century

Scottish mythological figure done in beadwork with a red needlepoint ground. The hands and face done in pettipoint. This was a firescreen and altered at some point to function as as hanging. It has a black an gold ring turned wood frame. 26 1/2 x 20 1/4 inches - the textile. The back has been carefully relined. Very good condition for textile of this age. Turn of the century.
