A fine decorative large floral form sterling repousse bowl with overlapping petals and center stamens. The mark on the base is for Meriden Britannia (Meriden Connecticut) holloware. Meriden purchased Wilcox & Evertsen in 1895, maker of fine sterling holloware. In 1898 Meriden was taken over by International Silver. The bowl is in excellent condition. 8.75 inches in diameter 2.75 inches high

The round bulbous bases with a starburst and pinwheel cut glass pattern, surrounded by a diamond cut. The floral, honey combed sterling hinged lids with original glass stoppers. The one lid with an indentation ( photo 4) with little detriment,due to sterling pattern. London hallmarks, date letter for 1899, makers mark indiscernible. The size and duality of these pieces are of a decorative significance. 4.75 x 7 inches

Marked on the frame Tahan boul des Italiens (Boulevard des Italiens, Paris) It was at this prestigious address (1866-1878) where his specialty was boxes that he gained the favor of Napoleon III. The enameled surface of geometric design with raised jewels on the pale yellow ground. Set in a an ormolu frame with rocaille style side mounted legs. The interior relined. Good condition. 4 1/4 x 3 x 2 1/4 inches.

An oval form gilt bronze frame with vibrant purple recessed guilloche enamel. The mat finish area enhanced with leaf and scroll work between inner and outer borders of convex and inverted gadrooning. Marked on the verso France. 7 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches, photo opening 5 x 3 3/4 inches (without gold matt showing in photos). Three very indistinct (due to depth of color) cracks to enamel.
