The fox with flattened ears and loosely painted collar of grapes and their foliage. Some areas of slight rubbing, otherwise no breaks, and in good condition. A later 19th c. example. 4 3/4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide.
After a painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds, titled "Lady Bampflyd", in a gilt wood frame. Front surface of tile, is unmarred and in good condition. There is a incised Minton mark on the verso. England, circa 1870.
