A French lavender ground gilt porcelain inkstand. The pen tray and sides with painted floral bouquet and gilt scrolling pattern on cobalt on the tray front. Dual ink receptacles with domed lids and elevated gilt paw feet. Receptacles not alike and show some difference in height. It is otherwise in good condition. 7.50 x 4 x 3 inches
Six fan shaped sections circling a scalloped center dish all with painted rose center and green garlands with combed puce edges, set in a conforming black lacquer tray. Underglaze blue mark for Aprey - France- 18th c. 23 1/2inches in dia. Some restoration on edges and slight surface scratching. An alternative use as wall grouping.
