| Officers uniform of the Janos Hunyadi huszar regiment. Hunyadi 15th c. famed Hungarian military hero, who drove the Turks out of the Balkans. It is artist signed We'ninget La'szlo'ne, and has the blue Herend mark and the incised mark. Circa 1950. These historical, as well as folk legend pieces are not as readily available as the Herend service and decorative objects. I also have the Bocskai huszar and the Koburg huszar figures. 13 inches high, excellent condition. | |||||||||||
