Directly from Jerusalem, RARE, ancient biblical Iron Age II pottery olive oil storage jar with a juglet. Nicely made in a huge graceful body with 3 handles and a spout. The mouth of the spout served as a seat for a dipper-jugle, in order to catch and return to the vessel any liquid dripping from the juglet after use. Ridged neck and handle drawn from the ridge to the shoulder.
