Iron Age II "Cypro-Phoenician"  juglet, 800 BC
Directly from Jerusalem, ancient "Cypro-Phoenician" juglet, Eastern Mediterranean Biblical Iron Age II 1000 - 700 BC juglet.

Globular body, tall, narrow neck flaring widely to rim, sharp horizontal ridge below midpoint; rim everted, handle attached below neck ridge to shoulder, oval cross-section; base flat.
Orange ware; pink core; orange slip, black paint: one band on rim,three bands on neck, six narrow bands above body midpoint, one thick bank below, one concentric circle of four rings, paint applied after wheel-burnishing

Measurements: Height: 10.5 cm - Diameter: 6.5 cm - Height on stand: 12.5 cm

Found in Hebron south of Jerusalem, Israel
