An exquisite ancient Roman marble head of Aphrodite, C. 1st - 2nd Century AD Depicted with a serene expression on her face, her head tilted and turned to the right. The long thick waving hear centrally-parted falling in tresses. Shapely lips and small rounded chin. Her heavy-lidded articulated eyes set beneath a defined brow. A very high quality sculpture.
