You are considering a very rare ancient Byzantine highly decorated pottery oil lamp, dating to the 5th Century AD The lamp is made of reddish brown clay with remains of red slip. Oval shape with large filling central filling hole. Depicting on the left a walking hunter holding a stick over his shoulder, a running dog above the burning hole and a running rabbit on the right side of the shoulder. The base is decorated with a large cross inside a circle. Measurements: Length: 8.5 cm - Width: 7 cm
