Ancient pottery spindle perfume jar, globular mid-section, cylindrical neck, rounded rim folded outwards, , mid-section narrows into tall cylindrical foot with flared bottom, flat base.

These long thin vessels, common in Israel during the Hasmonean Period, originate directly from Greek forms of the 4th-3rd Centuries B.C.
Condition: Perfect condition, not repaired and not restored
Found in Bethlehem south of Jerusalem, Israel
