Extremely Rare Cypriot Bull-shaped Rython
Aweidah Gallery is pleased to present to your this extremely rare ancient Cypriot "Late Bronze Age" Bull-shaped Rython, dated from, 1200 BC

Long Cylindrical hollow body. Short neck with ridge for dewlap and a filling-hole on its nape, short narrow tubular muzzle with spout for pouring; upright horns, tiny ears, impressed pellets for eyes, short legs, tail in relief along hind-quarters of body; flat loop handle on upper part of body, from filling-hole to mid back

Measurements: Length: 15.5 cm - Height: 11 cm

Condition: Professionally repaired

Found in Hebron south of Jerusalem, Holy Land
