Anasazi Tularosa Olla with Bird Handle, circa 1150-1275, 6" high X 6 3/4" across. This exquisitely designed pitcher has been broken and glued with 10-12% restoration mostly to its neck and bottom. The entire Bird Lug is original as is the surrounding neck area. There is a beautiful star pattern on top of the vessel. I love fantastic brush work and this piece has spectacular artistry. Note the wonderful scrolls in the neck. A classic Anasazi design on an outstanding vessel.

I've always liked Valdivia pieces from Ecuador. Considering that they are quite old, I think its the simplicity in design that attract me to them. What they represent, who knows?
