Bes was the god of music and dance, the god of war and slaughter, and a destroying force of nature. He was also a protector of children. Very nice translated faience shabti with 6 lines of hieroglyphs.Text:Speaking of the words,O this ushabti, if one reckons the Osiris, the king's acquitance, the tousured priest, Sa-Iset true of voice, to do all.
The text is written horizontally in 6 lines under the arms and on an additional line onthe back pillar. The glyphs are hand incised. Period:26st - 30th Dynasty.

Overseer - Shabti of Ta-baket-n-chonsu

Ta-Baket-n-chonsu, as evidenced by their coffin in Vienna, many Shabtis and a papyrus. She was a singer of Amun-Re and musician of the goddess Mut in Thebes in the 3rd. Intermediate Period. Her name means "The servant of the Chonsu".
Based on her title and her name is the close connection to the gods of the theban triad "Amun-Re, Mut and Chons" below.
