A large Pre-Classic Maya figural vessel from El Salvador, ca. 500 BC – 250 AD. This rare Usulután spouted effigy vessel is 6-1/2” high, 7-1/2” in diameter and is covered with the resist designs characteristic of the type. It depicts a female with arms molded in relief and a serene expression on her face, which is highlighted with white pigment. Intact, with good dendrites. Cf.
