| An unusual Vera Cruz figure from Mexico, ca. 600 - 900 AD. It portrays a seated individual hunched over his updrawn knees. He is 6-1/2” high, is portrayed with what appears to be a bandage wrapped around his head and an expressive face that clearly communicates pain. Despite small repairs and losses to the back of the head, this is a wonderful sculpture that has great presence and displays beautifully. | ||
