Yanagawa Seigan:1789-1858 Nanga painter.Born in Mino Province.First to Edo,then to Kyoto,where he lived a secluded life.The Confucian scholars Koga Seiri and Yamamoto Hokuzan were his mentors and may have had much to do with his poetic talent.
