A truly exceptional English late-eighteenth century Pembroke or Breakfast Table, circa 1780-1790, with a delicate balance of veneer components all working in concert with vibrant and dense "Island" mahogany. The top is bordered with a three-line inlaid edging and the delightfully elegant legs are punctuated with graceful ovals inlays and terminate in rectangular and original casters. A very elegant English George III mahogany bowfront sideboard with dazzling cross-banded satinwood top and three line inlays, circa 1800, with the rare inclusion of the original "lion's head" pulls. The drawers repeat the pattern of the top and are accented with corresponding exuberant satinwood borders. The case rest on six tapered legs that terminate in spade feet.
