An American Rococo Revival mahogany and burl mahogany "Parlor Mirror",of the highest ranking, circa, 1845-1850, attributed to J. and J. W. Meeks (active 1836-1859), New York, New York, with a broken top pediment. Height: 65 1/2" inches from tip of finial to bottom. Gorgeous ebony and mahogany burl inlays. The mirror plate is original to the piece, with minor and expected oxidation. Formerly on loan to The Munson William Proctor Institute, Utica, New York.

An exceptional English George III Pier Mirror with a red eglomise panel of gilt roses and cornice with spherules above a rectangular mirror plate flanked by ribboned columns. Original gilding with the rare manufacturer's paper label which reads: "M.
