A rare pair a French Directoire “Style” Bouillotte Lamps with Tole Shades and Ormolu Mounts, appendages, and pierced “dish” bases with three candle arms. The name “bouilotte” is derived from a card game popular in the French Directoire Period (1795-1799) and French Empire Era (1799-1815). The lamps were usually employed to illuminate tables for card playing in the late day and were very mobile as they generally were topped with a ring finial. A pair of English Porcelain Potpourri Urns with Lids, and a deep blue colored base and gilded accents. The urns are accentuated with four projecting "Lion's" heads and bases with "Paw" feet. The Derby Factory began producing porcelain wares as early as 1750 and were well-known for high quality products, many of which were derived from French Sevres Designs. A very rare pair of English Silver-Plate Two-Arm Wall Sconces in the Georgian or Adam Style, probably Sheffield. They have bellflower details and the original silver finish with starburst centers, and guilloche oval borders. With the exception of the crystal drops, they are completely original.
