Very big Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) colorful Porcelain IMARI Okimono of an aristocrat woman with finely detailed hands and hair, dressed in amazingly beautiful kimono and obi. The enamel work over the okimono is lightly raised. 17" tall x 8" x 6" wide.

Rare Japanese Meiji Period C19th finely hand-decorated fan-shaped Satsuma vase with feet in a shape of scrolls. The vase depicts a scene of two birds over bushes with pomegranates with blossoms and morning glory blossoms on one side. The opposite side of the vase as well as sides is decorated with flower blossoms and leaf designs. There is also magnificent enamel work decorations over the upper and lower parts of the vase. Japanese 19th century tripod Satsuma Koro with an okimono of Shishi on a lid. The same Koro can be seen in a book Treasures of Imperial Japan Ceramics from Khalili collection, from National museum of Wales, page 45, picture 44. Please see pictures. The only difference is in decorations, which this Koro has in a gosu-blue style but the one in the book- in floral. Serious collectors welcome. 4 3/4" tall x 5"

Big Japanese Meiji Period Sumida Gawa Vase with a beautifully glazing and finely scene of five cranes. Two cranes are made with silver and other three are low-relieved and underglazed over uneven iron oxidation and brown enamel background. There is a gorgeous blue enamel "leak" which goes from the top to the middle of the vase. There is a fine silver symbolic ornament is on the upper part of the vase. 14 1/4" tall x 10 1/2" D.
