Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) gold lacquer silver enamel and shibayama inlaid vase. The vase is finely decorated with multiple shibayama inlays of a bird seated on Sakura on one side and floral decorations on the opposite side. The vase is mounted on silver rims with two silver bamboo-shaped handles and a silver band applied over the upper part of the vase with multiple color enamel. Museum quality Japanese Edo Period sterling silver and lacquer complete tobacco smoking set with three drawers, sterling handles in a shape of turtles, a sterling silver handle mounted over bamboo silver cast leafs. There are two sterling silver finely made, pierced and chiseled removable bowls, one with a handle and a pierced top and the other one with a hand-hammered lid and a chiseled body. Japanese Meiji Period signed rare design Satsuma Vase , made and signed by Kinkozan with chocolate and yellow color enameling background. The vase has gilded Bamboo-shaped handles. The vase depicts various floral symbolic decorations over chocolate background. There are gorgeous shishi and flowers decorations on mon style circle shaped shields. Even the bottom part of the vase has raised mon decorations. Please see the pictures. Serious collectors wecome. 16 1/4" tall x 9" D.

The vase has a traditional chocolate-brown satin background with various fine blue, green, red and finely gilded decorations.
