Japanese early Meiji Period iron heart-shaped box. It is finely inlaid with gold decorations on sides, gold and shakudo Maple trees with leaves, and clouds; a few leaves are low relieved and are made from shakudo. There is also two low relieved shakudo and gold inlaid pair of shishi and Paradise birds. The interior of the box is made with silver. Magnificent Japanese Meiji period 19th century Satsuma Flask. It is attributed to Kinkozan. It has two scenes on front and on a back, both decorated with beautiful ornaments and various floral decoration with raised relieved white enamel flowers. The sides and a neck of the vase are also covered with fine decorations. A foot of the Flask has fine floral decorations as well. Japanese late Meiji - early Taisho (1912-1915) wood lacquer box with finely lacquer raised and painted low relief life-like color birds seated on a tree with life-like leaves. The sides of the box has symbolic ornaments and yin-yang marks. The background of the box , the interior and the exterior are made with dark brown, almost black lacquer It has a minimum wear to the edges. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition with no losses, 5 5/8" long x 4 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" tall
