Japanese late Meiji - early Taisho (1912-1915) wood lacquer box with finely lacquer raised and painted low relief life-like color birds seated on a tree with life-like leaves. The sides of the box has symbolic ornaments and yin-yang marks. The background of the box , the interior and the exterior are made with dark brown, almost black lacquer It has a minimum wear to the edges. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition with no losses, 5 5/8" long x 4 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" tall

Japanese late Edo (mid 19th century) wood lacquer finely painted Okimono in a shape of a Daikoku's Hammer with a hard to find maki-e and hiromaki-e techniques. It has no losses, chips, cracks, or wear! The top of the hammer has a stripe line with four mons with cranes on them. The handle is decorated with originally patinated silver shells that cover cord Himatoshi. 4 3/4" long x 2 3/4" tall x 2 1/4" wide

This is Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Tokyo School Bronze partly gilded lidded Jar with 6 feet and 2 handles. The top of the lid is decorated with sculptures of two boys, one holding Shinto flag and another one standing on his knee and playing plates. The Jar has two finely carved Paradise birds , gilded flowers and other various ornaments. The boys and a flag are made in Miyao style. The Jar has a beautiful dark-brown patina. Japanese Taisho Period (1916-1925) Makuzu Kozan II (Hanzan) signed pagoda- shaped very light-blue (almost white) Celadon lidded Jar with an underglazed raised kanji writing over the center. It has an excellent glazing with no imperfections. It has a seal- mark of the artist. It is pretty heavy by weight. The Jar is in excellent condition with no damages.

This is a magnificent Japanese Edo Period mid 19th century Satsuma style Vase attributed to Jinjukan. The Vase is finely made with a beautiful hand-painting and enamel work . The Vase depicts five immortals, shishi , a table with an incense burner, two vases with Ikebana (one vase has kanji writing on it). The upper and a lower part of the vases have symbolized enamel decorations. The Vase measures 10" tall x 6 1/2" D.

This is a Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) ceramic blue and white SETO Jar with a cover. It has various finely hand-painted floral decorations. There is an iron oxidation seen over the upper and a lower edges of the vase. The vase has all signs of the early kiln workmanship and it has a few microscopic "charcoal" enamel flakes. This vase has no losses or damages. It measures 9 3/4" tall x 6 1/2" D.
