Japanese wood (zetan) and ivory lacquered Okimono of a woman dancer on her knee with her hands raised in a dance move. The ivory parts are finely detailed and fine hand-carved , on a Tokyo School level. One piece of wood (zetan) and dancer's obi are magnificently decorated with maki-e and hiromaki-e golden silver lacquer works. All parts are original and are covered with original age patina. 6" tall x 3 7/8" wide x 3 1/4" deep.

Japanese Meiji Period (late 19th century) big wood lacquer box with an inner removable tray , finely decorated with a seascape with mountains, pagoda, temple and trees over the coast. There is maki-e, hiromakie and nashiji works over the black lacquer background and Pine trees over the interior. Nashiji background is throughout the box. The box is in pristine condition. The box is 6 1/2" long x 13 1/2" wide 5 1/4" tall.

Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) gold lacquer silver enamel and shibayama inlaid vase. The vase is finely decorated with multiple shibayama inlays of a bird seated on Sakura on one side and floral decorations on the opposite side. The vase is mounted on silver rims with two silver bamboo-shaped handles and a silver band applied over the upper part of the vase with multiple color enamel.
